I’m Dr. Beth Hatt, founder of SageEQ. With over 20 years of experience in K–12 education and teacher preparation, my background in special education and certification in restorative practices inform everything I do.

As a former Director of a largely online School of Education and as someone who has taught incarcerated youth, I’ve seen this issue from all sides.

At the same time, I’ve worked with hundreds of preservice and in-service educators, principals, and superintendents who care deeply about students but were never given practical tools to respond effectively in emotionally charged situations.

SageEQ is built to close that gap and reduce unnecessary office referrals, strengthen teacher confidence, and preserve the joy that brings educators into the profession in the first place.
